Progress
I will always be honest and vulnerable with you on this page. What's more vulnerable than telling you my exact weight, measurements and show you photos of me in my sports bra or swimming suit? So be kind!
I'm not perfect and I've "fallen off the fitness wagon" a time or two since starting this. So below might not show the greatest representation of visual progress and change. This is real life though right? Sometimes you stumble and fall. What matters most though is how you pick yourself back up again and keep trying.
In May 2020 I started trying to follow numbers that were more inline with my monthly cycle. I'm still not 100% consistent with it so I'm holding off posting additional images until at least the end of July 2020. The program I'm following has 4 separate weeks and therefore I can't compare week 3 in May to week 1 in June. Don't worry I'll tell you all about it soon!
I also want to take this time to remind you that progress isn't just in physical changes. Progress can be in how your mental health is, how well you are sleeping, in a reduction of anxiety attacks, increased strength in your lifts, increased endurance in walks and runs! So when measuring your own progress, don't only look at the number on the scale or numbers on that tape measure. Pictures help a ton too! There are lots of time when I don't feel like I look any different yet my pictures show I do. Take some advice from Dory in Finding Nemo and Just Keep Swiming! You will make more progress by going slow than by stopping and starting over.
